Insurance Verification
We believe that accepting health insurance is an important part of making holistic therapy more accessible.
As a courtesy, we are happy to verify your insurance benefits and bill your insurance company.
Insurance can be confusing; if you have any questions regarding the details of your plan, we are here to help.
Call our Front Desk at (503) 894-9437 to verify your insurance.
Patient Responsibilities
While Portland Healing Space provides a courtesy insurance benefit check to estimate your coverage and submits medical bills on your behalf, it's important to remember that your insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company.
You are responsible for:
Reviewing Your Benefits: Familiarize yourself with your insurance benefits before your appointment.
Verifying Coverage: We recommend that you confirm your coverage details directly with your insurance, in addition to our eligibility check, before booking an appointment.
Payment Responsibilities: Be prepared to pay your copay, coinsurance, deductible, and any costs for services not covered by your insurance.
Updating Insurance Information: Keep us informed of any changes to your insurance and ensure your coverage is current.
Important Notes:
Our courtesy benefit checks are estimates and do not guarantee coverage or payment. Misquotes can lead to unexpected costs.
We recommend obtaining a benefit check from your insurance to identify discrepancies prior to appointments, allowing you to direct questions to your insurance provider.
When multiple modalities are used within a session, (e.g., Simple vs. Complex Acupuncture or Chiropractic visits), separate copays or coinsurance may be incurred.

At Portland Healing Space our clinicians are experts at treating motor vehicle accident (MVA) injuries and our administrative staff are experts at filing the insurance paperwork. Let us lighten your load as you navigate the path to recovery.
If you have been in a motor vehicle accident (MVA) in Oregon either as a pedestrian, driver, passenger or bicyclist, you are legally entitled to receive medical care. In the state of Oregon, Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance pays medical bills resulting from an MVA. State law mandates at least $15,000 in PIP coverage for you and each of your vehicle passengers for a period of one year after a collision - no matter who was at fault. The law also allows you to seek motor vehicle accident care from the licensed health care practitioners of your choice.
