Chase Waters, LAc, DAOM(c), MTCM, Dipl.Ac. is a board certified Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist in California and Oregon. He utilizes a scientific, evidence-based approach that is rooted in the Classical Chinese medical literature. His treatment approach is gentle, compassionate, and patient-centered. Chase’s strategies aim to optimize the mind-body connection by utilizing Classical & TCM Acupuncture, Physical Medicine, and Functional Medicine to help individuals reach their highest potential. 

Currently, he is a Doctoral candidate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. His doctoral thesis is on the neurophysiological effects of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation on autonomic tone and heart rate variability. As a clinician and researcher, he is very interested in the close functional relationship between the psyche, and the nervous, immune, hormonal, and digestive systems. 

His specialties are in Neuropsychiatry, Gastrointestinal disorders, and Neuromusculoskeletal medicine, with particular interests in Performance Enhancement, Stress management, Professional Burnout / Adrenal Fatigue, Anxiety, Depression, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, and Lyme Disease.
